Q Match Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Q Match is a card-matching game for iPhone and iPad, made by CutieWork Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.
In short: Q Match has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It sends Google Firebase anonymous product interaction data (how the game is played), crash data and other diagnostic data, a random device ID and your coarse location (country or region), so we can find bugs and improve the game. We don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location, and we don't sell any data.
What the app collects
| Data | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Product Interaction | A game starting (the level it starts on, and whether it's your first game); a level ending (level reached, score, whether it was completed or game over, time played and paused, number of pauses, matches, misses and best combo); opening How to Play; opening the leaderboard; whether you're signed in to Game Center (yes or no only) | Understand how the game is played and tune difficulty |
| Crash Data | Crash reports, the app version and build, device model and iOS version | Find and fix bugs |
| Other Diagnostic Data | An error code if the file that stores your best score can't be read or written, or if Game Center doesn't accept a score | Find and fix bugs |
| Device ID | A random app-instance ID created by Firebase. It isn't your Apple ID, and it isn't the advertising identifier (IDFA). | Count sessions and group events from the same install |
| Coarse Location | Country or region, which Firebase derives from your IP address | See where players are, in aggregate |
None of this is linked to your identity, and none of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app doesn't use the advertising identifier and doesn't show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
What stays on your device
Your best score and settings are stored only on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.
Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, the sign-in and the leaderboard are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We don't receive your Game Center name or player details; the app only records whether you're signed in.
Service providers
The statistics and crash reports are processed by Google through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's Privacy Policy.
Google keeps analytics data for 14 months and crash reports for 90 days, then deletes them.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone except the service providers above, or when the law requires it.
Security
Everything the app sends to Firebase is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Only CutieWork can see the data in our Firebase account, and Google protects it as described in Privacy and Security in Firebase. Your best score and settings stay in the app's private storage on your device, which iOS protects. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as we can.
Children
Q Match is suitable for all ages. It doesn't ask for personal information, and the data described above is collected the same way for every player.
Your choices
- Deleting the app removes your best score and settings, and a reinstall starts with a new app-instance ID.
- You can ask us to delete the analytics and crash data from your device, or ask any question about this policy, at support@cutiework.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have other rights over your data, and we'll honor them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
